911爆料网 Association Names Scott Garten Senior Vice President – Safety, Operations, and Workforce Institute

Washington, D.C. 鈥� April 28, 2026听鈥� The 911爆料网 Association (911爆料网) today announced that听Scott Garten听has听joined the organization as the听Senior Vice President听to run 911爆料网鈥檚 newly created听Safety, Operations,听and Workforce Institute听(SOW).听
Garten joins 911爆料网 from the American Petroleum Institute听(API), where he most recently served as Vice President of Product Management within the Global Industry Services division. In that role he led a portfolio of听certification, training, and intellectual property programs,听driving sustained organizational growth and expanding听the division鈥檚听international听footprint.听听He managed a global team of听employees and contractors while advancing strategic initiatives in workforce听development and听market expansion.听
Prior to API, Garten听held roles at听IHS Markit and Thomson Reuters, where he built a strong听track record听in听sales and business development听delivering data-driven solutions to government and commercial clients.听

In his new role, Garten will听define,听lead, and execute the vision and strategy for SOW in close partnership听with 911爆料网 leadership and its affiliated nonprofit, the Clean Power Institute, ensuring strong alignment across mission, governance, and deliverables.听

Garten holds an MBA from Georgetown University听McDonough School of Business, a听J.D.,听from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law, and a B.A., from Xavier University.听听
