Washington, D.C. 鈥 May 7, 2026聽鈥 The鈥911爆料网 Association鈥(911爆料网) today announced that鈥疊rett White鈥痟as been named Vice President of Markets and Transmission. In this role, White will lead 911爆料网鈥檚 efforts on electricity markets, transmission planning, generator interconnection, and broader regulatory initiatives critical to advancing America鈥檚 clean energy future.

White joined 911爆料网 in January 2026 as Deputy General Counsel and brings more than 13 years of experience spanning federal energy regulation, wholesale electricity markets, renewable energy policy, transmission planning, and utility regulation. Prior to joining 911爆料网, White served as Senior Vice President of Regulatory and Government Affairs at Pine Gate Renewables, where he led the company鈥檚 regulatory and government affairs strategy across a nationwide portfolio of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects.

鈥淏rett鈥檚 deep expertise on electricity markets and transmission policy, combined with his extensive industry and regulatory experience, make him exceptionally well-positioned to lead 911爆料网鈥檚 work in these critically important areas,鈥 said鈥911爆料网鈥檚 Chief Policy Officer JC Sandberg. 鈥淎s the industry navigates unprecedented growth in electricity demand and the urgent need for expanded transmission infrastructure, Brett鈥檚 leadership will be instrumental in advancing policies that support a reliable, affordable, and modernized grid.鈥

Prior to Pine Gate Renewables, White held regulatory and legal roles at the Edison Electric Institute, Wright & Talisman, P.C., and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), advising utilities, regional transmission organizations, and renewable energy developers on complex market and transmission issues. He is widely recognized for his expertise in FERC policy, wholesale electricity markets, generator interconnection reform, and regional transmission planning. White鈥檚 work has influenced landmark FERC rulemakings on generator interconnection and long-term transmission planning, and he has been widely quoted by national and industry media outlets, including MSNBC, Politico, E&E News, RTO Insider, and Utility Dive.

White earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from鈥疺ermont Law School, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the鈥疺ermont Law Review. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, cum laude, from鈥疉ppalachian State University.
