Justin Johnson
Justin Johnson serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Arevon, where he drives the company鈥檚 strategy, growth, and advancement of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects across the United States. With more than 20 years of experience in energy development, infrastructure operations, and large-scale project execution, he has a proven track record of delivering energy solutions at scale.
Johnson formed Arevon in 2017 and played a key role in growing the company from a team of three employees with zero operating projects to a leading independent power producer, owning and operating more than 6 gigawatts of utility-scale solar, energy storage, and solar-plus-storage projects in 18 U.S. states. During his tenure, Arevon has expanded its workforce to over 300 professionals and consistently ranks at the top among its peers for project performance and fleet availability.
Prior to his appointment as CEO, Johnson was Arevon鈥檚 Chief Operating Officer for nearly five years, overseeing Asset Management, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Risk & Insurance. He also held senior leadership positions at Capital Dynamics, EDP Renewables, and Horizon Wind Energy. Earlier in his career, he served as an Officer in the U.S. Air Force for seven years in flight test engineering and project management roles.
Justin earned a Master of Business Administration from Babson College and is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy.
