Caroline Mead is Senior Vice President of Power Marketing at ENGIE North America, where she leads commercial strategy and power offtake for one of North America’s largest renewable and flexible generation portfolios. She also helps drive ENGIE’s efforts to develop integrated energy solutions for data centers and other large-load customers navigating rapidly growing power demand.

With nearly two decades of experience in renewable energy markets, Caroline has been at the forefront of the transformation of corporate energy procurement. Throughout her career, she has negotiated and enabled more than 12 gigawatts of utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects across North America, working with utilities, Fortune 500 companies, and leading technology firms to meet energy, sustainability, and business objectives.

Today, Caroline focuses on one of the energy sector’s most consequential challenges: connecting the unprecedented growth in electricity demand with reliable, affordable, and scalable energy supply. Her work spans power purchase agreements, energy market strategy, risk management, battery storage, and innovative commercial structures that help large energy users secure long-term power while supporting grid reliability.

Caroline lives North of Chicago, IL with her family where she is active in several sports with her children and spouse along with a heavy commitment to her community holding another Board position with her local community foundation as well as a position on her local planning & zoning commission.
